Overview: ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor on seeking candidates to provide support to Marice Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM).

Responsibilities: This position is located on-site at Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM) in Albany, GA and supports LOGCOM's Audit Readiness Augmentation requirements. The candidate will provide advisory and assistance support to MARCORLOGCOM enterprise-level framework for materiel management - inventory control; analyze/assess current systems and execution methods and compile best practices for implementation by MARCORLOGCOM in essential materiel management/inventory control operations; and monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance and costs of supply chain operations, stratification of materiel requirements, assets, overages and shortfalls; and inventory value. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Analyses of current and select legacy doctrine and policy documents to clearly articulate and understand DOD, DON, and USMC materiel management - inventory control performance requirements and relationships Collect current and legacy data to objectively model existing and former materiel management/inventory control processes Assess USMC and MARCORLOGCOM materiel management - inventory control policies, systems, performance measures, quality assurance and management controls Assess organizational alignment, system output, and information technology changes to support improved/redesigned processes Recommend improvements and performance to ensure sustained success and keep improved/redesigned processes from degrading Develop recommended mitigation plans for each of the measures being monitored in case the process becomes unstable and needs to be modified

Qualifications: Knowledge, skills, abilities, education:

• Associates or Bachelor's with specialization in Logistics, Material Management or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience with enterprise Materiel Management, Logistics Operations, Inventory Control, and/or associated systems
• Knowledgeable in the identification and physical inventory of military equipment, especially Marine Corps specific configurations
• Knowledgeable in the systems and processes for materiel management/inventory control, financial systems, and their interface with current DoD systems to provide materiel management and inventory control
• Experience in designing and conducting comprehensive analyses, studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects for the purpose of defining problems, identifying potential courses of action and proposing solutions for materiel management - inventory control issues
• Knowledge of and capability to use logistics automated information and data systems
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent client-facing consulting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite of tools and applications
• Experience in Operational Logistics
• Knowledge of Depot Maintenance functions
• Experience or certification in process improvement
• Knowledge of project management (MS Project)
