Job Description:

Responsibilities
- Identify acquisitions requiring Earned Value Management (EVM) per DoD and Agency policy and work with the acquisition directorate and mission counterparts to appropriately integrate EVM within acquisition documents. - Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) - Monitor contract and/or program performance through analysis of the Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), and other CDRL deliverables - Conduct contract surveillance activities - Serve as Agency EVM focal point engaging and collaborating with Intelligence Community, DoD, and Industry partners. - Use scientific methods to collect and analyze data using mathematical/statistical methods. - Document research processes, analyses and/or the results. - Perform simple and complex statistical analyses. - Use and apply automated business tools and databases. - Present analysis and recommendations to decision makers in a succinct and organized manner.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $66,228 - $85,464 (Entry/Developmental) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. - Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred. Degree must include 2 years (which equates to approximately 24 credit hours) of advanced mathematics. - Experience in the design, development, use, and evaluation of mathematics models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g., algorithm development, statistical modeling, forecasting, and stochastics) to study issues and solve problems is desired. Salary Range: $79,334 - $105,663 (Full Performance) *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. - Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred. Degree must include 2 years (which equates to approximately 24 credit hours) of advanced mathematics. - Relevant experience must be in the design, development, use, and evaluation of mathematics models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g., algorithm development, statistical modeling, forecasting, and stochastics) to study issues and solve problems. Requires a technical background in Earned Value Management techniques and methods as well as an understanding of Agency policies and DoD and IC policies related to EVM. Needs to be a self-starter, willing to take on challenges and special projects and be able to manage a variety of tasks concurrently, often with extremely short deadlines. An ability to quickly assess complex situations and develop innovated solutions that best meet often-conflicting needs is desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred
