FCi Federal has an opportunity for an Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) to join our team on our Federal Government contract in Williamsburg, KY.
The Assistant Operations Manager shall be responsible for one or more Unit Managers in the overall day-to-day planning, management and execution of the assigned areas of responsibility.
The Assistant Operations Manager is an Exempt, Full-Time position.
Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:
Oversee all operations within the assigned area of responsibility at the Center and ensure excellent performance that meets all requirements and standards. Coordinate and work with CA/VO counterparts to achieve high levels of customer responsiveness and operational performance Directly supervise, coach and mentor Unit Managers, and other management staff as assigned Hire and manage a technically proficient and professionally capable staff throughout the life of the contract. Provide timely deliverables and performance related data to the Government in order to allow adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement of support services. Conduct continuous improvement activities to realize improved service delivery capabilities and performance. Promote innovation, efficiency, and effectiveness. Resolve problems with minimal disruption to the activities being performed under the contract. Respond rapidly to surge requests and provide the appropriate levels of qualified staff. Participate in conference calls and digital video conferences from the CSCs as required with overseas posts, CA/VO, DOS, and other U.S. Government agencies. May be requested to provide formal and informal briefings to visitors or at off-site conferences Act as backup to Operations Manager when called upon to do so The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:
Must be a U.S. citizen with a current, active Secret level security clearance Must successfully complete a comprehensive 10-year criminal and credit history background check Must successfully complete a drug screening Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
Advanced Degree Required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a BS/BA degree, and two (2) years of additional experience may be substituted for an advanced degree Ten (10) years of management experience, including at least five (5) years managing a large-scale operation of size, scope, and complexity similar to this requirement Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication Superior organizational skills and work ethic Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and supervise senior and mid-level managers and supervisors Strong command of the English language both verbally and written Strong administrative and organizational skills Basic Computer Skills Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrate a professional work ethic Basic understanding of geography Ability to work independently and as a member of the team Excellent written and oral communication, and; Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and supervise senior and mid-level managers and supervisors Travel:
Occasional travel may be required Physical Demands:
