Job Description:

Overview: ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

We are a DoD Small Business Prime Contractor seeking candidates to provide support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Information and Technology (OIT).

The Office of Information and Technology's (OIT) mission is to deliver high-quality information technologies and services to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, other government agencies, the travelling public, and the international trade community in support of the agency's day-to-day activities to secure the border and facilitate trade and travel. OIT manages CBP's technology infrastructure and information and technology (I&T) operations in order to enable CBP mission readiness and improve the ability of all employees, including officers and agents in the field, to be proactive and responsive to new threats.

This position is contingent upon Task Order award. Place of performance is in & around the National Capital Region. Period of Performance is one base year plus four option years (5 years total).

Telecommuting may be authorized under this task order. Approval to telecommute will be made on a case by case basis and granted or revoked by the COR/Task Monitor and will be limited by the Government's ability to secure, support, and manage remote work being performed. When telecommuting is approved, the remote employee must use CBP provided equipment, software and/or security features. No other additional cost will be assumed by the Government for Contractor employees working remotely.

Responsibilities: Enterprise Data Management & Engineering provides innovative Information Technology (IT) services and solutions to the Office of Information and Technology (OIT), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customers. EDMED engineers enterprise solutions providing optimal IT data integrity and accessibility that ensure performance quality, reliability, and 24x7 IT systems availability, which supports the protection of our borders and the facilitation of legitimate trade.

This position is also in support the CBP Data Center Migration (DCM) Program Management Office, currently within EDME. The overall goal of the CBP DCM Program is to vacate the National Data Center (NDC) facility by September 2019. The OIT DCM Program Management Office (PMO) is a function within OIT EDMED.

Administrative Professional - shall:
• Track DCM data-calls (incoming, response, and closure)
• Schedule and facilitate of DCM meetings with various stakeholders
• Attend DCM meetings as requested and scribe at those meetings
• Assist and provide general and administrative support to the DCM PMO as needed.

Qualifications: Required:

• 3+ years experience
- US Citizen
- Eligible for CBP Clearance

Preferred:
-DHS CBP Experience

All applicants/candidates shall have appropriately adjudicated suitability background investigations and shall be US citizens. Under normal conditions, only U.S. Citizens are allowed access to DHS systems and networks, however, at times there is a need to grant access to foreign nationals. If a non-US citizen has access to ES-OIT assets, appropriate exceptions will be documented in accordance with DHS policy. Access for foreign nationals is normally a long term commitment, and exceptions to appropriate policies are treated separately from standard exceptions and waivers. The approval chain for an exception to the U.S. Citizenship requirement flows through the Component Head, the Office of Security, and the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Attachment J to the DHS 4300A Sensitive Systems Handbook provides an electronic form for requesting exceptions to the U.S. Citizenship requirements.
