Program / Contract Director - Mail Services and Warehouse Management
FCi Federal is recruiting candidates for the position of Program / Contract Director, contingent upon award of a large-scale mail management contract with the federal government.
The Program/Contract Director has overall responsibility for managing performance of all work performed under this contract. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of federal mail and warehouse services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):
Responsible for overall contractual performance and compliance of work completed in fast paced mailroom and warehouse environment Manage, direct, and allocate staffing resources to subordinate professional staff Manage subcontractor(s) to ensure performance and metrics are met Report overall performance and action plans to government client and internal senior leadership Ability to successfully communicate with client and internal staff regarding complex process changes Determine financial impacts to any contract modifications and provide proper reporting Responsible to ensure all contract deliverables are submitted timely and without error Ability to develop and successfully lead the implementation of staffing plans to handle fluctuations in workload Develop and recommend to client process improvements that support program objectives Oversee robust training program to ensure it meets requirements of contract Review invoices, task orders, etc. for accuracy prior to submission to client, notify client of any concerns prior to submission Successfully collaborate with internal Human Capital team to address employee concerns or performance issues Develop plans that monitor all routine maintenance activities that are completed on commercial mail operations and warehousing equipment in accordance with client's established standards Establish quality management program that routinely monitors processes completed on contract and provides steps that eliminate future quality defects. Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years' experience in a supervisory role in a time sensitive services environment - Required Minimum of three (3) years of total supervisory experience in mail management operations Computer skills required: MS Office Suite skills Six Sigma Certification - Preferred PMP Certification - Preferred Ability to pass government background investigation and maintain clearance Must be U.S. Citizen Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects and office equipment; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc. Work Environment:
This position is performed in a mail operations and secure warehousing environment.
