FCi Federal has an opportunity for a Program Director to join our leadership team for our Federal Government contract in Lee's Summit, MO. As Program Director, you will oversee the management of the program through the supervision and leadership of Site Operations Managers. As Program Director, you will have key role in program planning and execution to achieve operational excellence, client satisfaction, organic growth and financial goals.
Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
Overall leadership for all contract efforts; serve as primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives as needed on program and contract administration issues. Supervise program operations by developing management procedures and controls, planning and directing project execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. Manage acquisition and employment of program resources, to include, financial and administrative aspects of the program with. Plan, organize, direct and track all functional program details to include schedules, costs and milestones. Integrate overall operations, production planning/forecasting, human capital, recruiting, quality, training, security, safety and reporting to ensure contract compliance with performance requirements and deliverables for staff of 1,000+. Direct operations in a records management environment with multiple shifts and locations to achieve compliance for accuracy and timeliness of contract performance requirements. Ensure reporting and tracking mechanisms are in place to ensure that the programs are well managed financially and contractually. Responsible for program management, operations, and meeting all contractual requirements and deliverables of Government contract. Collaborate with customers on activities to include program accomplishments, successes, and any challenges/issues. Support proposal preparation activities for contract re-competes and new program pursuits.
Review monthly invoices, work with billing department and program managers to ensure accurate Invoicing to clients. Responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) of the program. Development of individual program and contract budgets. Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Manage and mentor diverse and geographically dispersed program personnel to direct and motivate toward successful outcomes and mission success.
The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance Must successfully complete a comprehensive 7-year criminal and credit history background check Must successfully complete a drug screening Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
Bachelor's degree in related field; experience in lieu of degree may be considered if relevant and directly related to the business. PMP training highly desirable; PMP acceptable in lieu of educational requirements At least 10 years of experience required, with a minimum of 5 in project management.
Experience in government contracting environment is required. Management of projects and/or contracts in excess of $30 million annually, or supervision of 200 or more people is preferred. Must have the ability to independently plan, develop and implement projects, discrete studies/tasks and other work functioning as the manager and coordinator. Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organization skills to balance and prioritize work and improve processes. Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook. Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction.
