Specialist, Marketing Communications
PenFed is hiring a Marketing Communications Specialist in PenFed Realty Company LLC. The primary purpose of this job is to act as the marketing department's primary copywriter and content producer. The Marketing Communications Specialist will communicate Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty's unique value propositions and key campaign messages through creative, effective, solution-driven copy that speaks to our benefits and resonates with our target markets. The incumbent should be a powerful writer with a clear storytelling voice and engaging style who is comfortable with every type of written communication.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns and business objectives by creating a regular stream of content and copy for:
Social media channels
Speeches and presentations
Print and digital advertising
Others as needed
Manage the company's social media channels including providing a daily stream of engaging content (posts, event photos, livestream, article shares, etc.) relevant to the company's followers/audience.
Measure and report on social media performance in a manner that is meaningful and actionable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or English required.
Minimum of 1 year experience writing copy and/or producing content required (portfolio will be requested).
Experience working with social media platforms required.
Experience in building audiences (online and offline) highly preferred.
Ability to provide after-hours coverage for social media sites as part of a team required.
Familiarity with social media advertising and email marketing preferred.
Experience working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position will not directly supervise employees.
Licenses and Certifications
There are no additional licenses or certifications required for this position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
Limited travel to various worksites is required.
