Technica Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to join our Internal Research and Development team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas Apply broad in-depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities Provide technical system solutions and determines overall design direction Provide technical leadership and is responsible for the technical integrity within a subsystem or application Create IT system architecture concepts, including planning hardware, software and connective infrastructure for computer systems and networks Responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross-functional teams and business processes Assess customer needs, requirements, budget and inventory on hand leading to integration of customer's still-usable equipment, COTS vendor products, and custom configurations into system and network architectures Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree 10+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of a wide breadth of technology inclusive of Cloud technologies & ecosystems Knowledge in NFV/SDN (benefits, technologies, key vendors, use cases, etc.) Deep knowledge in telecom technologies, industry trends (e.g., network architectures, technologies, services) inclusive of network deployment topology for access, edge and core Datacom network Strong background in network/security solutions and architectures Exceptional writing skills inclusive of technical documentation Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
