Technica is seeking a Deputy Voice Systems Engineer, who will serve as a backup to the Lead Engineer in their absence in support of base migration to VoIP.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Process customer requests and/or trouble calls, take corrective actions, document completed actions and respond back to the customer Responsible for customer contact point and telephone number for telephone trouble reporting Track response and restoral of trouble calls Process requests for new installations, removals or modifications on existing equipment/services Ensure equipment and bench stock availability Track completion of service requests Oversee Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) for inside/outside plant equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School diploma or equivalent 6-8 years of related telephone systems experience IAT Level I (Network+) certification Secret clearance
