Technica is seeking a Configuration Manager who will lead a team of three people to provide Configuration Management services overseeing Software License Management and Unique IT Systems Support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the Base Information Technology Manager (BITM) Provide IT Asset Management to include purchasing, warehousing and distribution services of assets Manage IT assets throughout their life cycle from purchase to disposition Ensure all applicable environmental energy efficiency guidelines are adhered when purchasing new hardware or electronic equipment Supervise all Equipment Control Officers (ECOs) and any Communications Division/Squadron (CS) assigned IT unfunded submissions Authorize purchases, RFQs and Quarterly Enterprise Buy (QEB) waivers Coordinate with vendors to provide technical solutions Determine usability and life cycle replacements of all excess IT systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent 8-10 years of related Configuration Management experience IAT Level II (Security+) certification Secret clearance
