Job Description:

ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navy's and the U.S. Air Force's Joint Strike Fighter F-35, the U.S. Navy's F-18, EA-18G and F-16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Force's F-22 Raptor since 1998.

We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor seeking candidates to provide support to the U.S. Government.

The main effort of work is located within the Washington District of Columbia (DC)/National Capital Region (NCR).

Plans, organizes, directs, and conducts weapon systems cost estimating and research/training tasks. Has moderately extensive technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. Keeps abreast of new weapon system cost estimating methodologies, databases, and tools. Makes technical cost estimating and research decisions, which are considered authoritative and which demonstrate mature cost estimating judgment in anticipating and solving complex cost analysis problems. Work requires the technical capability to assess the cost and schedule implications of existing and projected technological advances, as well as being able to evaluate the impact of new and innovative acquisition strategies. This encompasses a basic knowledge of statistical techniques, applied mathematics, economics, and the engineering discipline.

•Must have at least two (2) years of progressive large DOD or AF acquisition program cost analysis experience.
•Must have experience in cost/engineering principles in the following areas: Cost/Technical - Aircraft/UAV/associated subsystems cost/engineering experience to be able to identify appropriate acquisition and O&S cost drivers and document current technology issues/trends/changes driving costs.
•Cost Estimating - demonstrated understanding of the connections of cost drivers and estimating the acquisition and O&S costs of aircraft/UAV systems and subsystems.
•Data collection - demonstrated ability to collect and normalize cost, technical, and programmatic data from Government and Industry entities.
•Knowledge of the Defense Cost and Resource Center (DCARC) data collection process and demonstrated experience in use of and analysis of CSDRs and CPRs. Knowledge of the DCARC data system(s) (i.e. DACIMS, CADE). Knowledge of AFTOC. Data analysis & cost tools - demonstrated ability to analyze data and develop cost estimating methods and tools.

•Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
