ARServices is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to to join our team. The HR Manager will play an integral role in a highly collaborative team. The position is located at the ARServices Corporate Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
Contribute to the development and achievement of Human Resources department goals, objectives, and systems Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures Manage benefits administration, including wellness programs Investigate and resolve employee relations Maintain HR data and systems, including HRIS, learning management system (LMS), onboarding and benefit portal Develop and manage recurring and ad hoc HRIS and payroll reports Develop and maintain in-person and computer-based (CBT) employee training Complete Annual Affirmative Action Reporting, VETS, EEO-1 reporting and other required compliance reporting Key member of corporate communications team, including oversight of quarterly employee newsletter Support key corporate initiatives, including internship programs, day of service outreach and planning and corporate events Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience PHR and/or SHRM-CP At least 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience in Employee Relations and Benefits Administration Previous experience working in Human Resources in the government contracting environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint Experience with enterprise-based HRIS system, preferably Deltek CostPoint Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of goals Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance Desired Qualifications
