This is a great growth opportunity for a Junior IMS Support Specialist to work alongside Project Managers while learning an important building block of Project Management.
ARServices is seeking a full-time, highly motivated Junior IMS Support Specialist to join our team. The Junior IMS Support Specialist will work on-site at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Acquisition and Program Management (OAPM), Security Technologist Acquisition Division (SATD).
OAPM supports the TSA mission by delivering innovative, mission-driven capabilities required by the frontline to safeguard America's transportation system. OAPM's goal is to provide effective mission capabilities by developing and leveraging a diverse, expert corps of professionals across the acquisition program lifecycle.
Tracks IMS activities at a project level and updates individual tasks and project data as needed. Updates IMS schedules based on changes and other updates. Collaborates with Project Managers to review and audit individual projects, adjust project schedules, and align scheduled activities between multiple projects. Assists with project status and tracking information, to include SCR and Overdue Task tracking at the project and branch levels. Desired Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 1-2 years of experience in an IMS Support (or related) role. Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules. Experience working with Project Managers. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities. Demonstration of the necessary personality and skills to support a diverse group. Outstanding communication skills (written and oral); including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience at OPM, TSA, or DHS is desired. An active Public Trust is desired.
