ARServices is seeking an experienced Workforce Development Specialist to join our team. The Workforce Development Specialist will provide support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division's (NSWCCD) Human Resources department. NSWCCD consists of 2,000 scientists, engineers and support personnel located in Maryland, Alaska, Washington, Virginia, Idaho, Florida, and Tennessee. This position is located at NSWCCD headquarters in Bethesda, MD.
Track DAWIA training requirements and completion rates Track DAWIA, Key Leadership Position (KLP), and Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) capacities by billet and annual completion Track DAWIA certification status and billet designation Analyze training curriculum against position requirements Track annual training completed for each employee, and maintain related documentation Prepare training correspondence and materials to be used for training events Assist with the development of the Civilian Personnel Management Academy (CPMA) training for NSWCCD supervisory personnel Notify personnel of potential training events, coordinate registrations, and maintain related documentation Requirements
5-10 years of experience in workforce development, including experience supporting a federal agency An active secret security clearance Expert knowledge of human resources related regulations, laws, policies, and procedures A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Excellent oral and written communication skills Creative thinker; strong analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills Desired Qualifications
SHRM or PHR certification
