ARServices is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team at Fort Belvoir, Virginia to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career. This position provides Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Nuclear Technologies Department, developing state-of-the-art capabilities to counter nuclear threats.
Develop, guide and monitor all aspects of cost, schedule, administration and performance of a portfolio of projects related to Signature Discovery, Patterns of Life, Wide Area Search, Tactical Search, and Situational Awareness. Research new requirements, conducts market research, and translates best technology areas and concepts to apply to Nuclear Threats mission. Interact frequently with other government agencies involved in non-proliferation, counter-proliferation, counter-terrorism, remote sensing, and nuclear threat detection. Provide advice and facilitates government acquisition actions by writing statements of work, evaluating proposals, and monitoring contractor performance. Assist the government in aligning the portfolio for rapid transition of emerging tools and analytical capabilities to key end-users. Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science plus 9 years of relevant experience, Masters of Science plus 7 years of relevant or Doctorate plus 4 years of experience in a core science or engineering discipline. Strong technical project management background. Familiarity with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) concepts-of-operation and research, development, test and evaluation (RDTE). Experience working with some or all of the following: DoD, other Federal agencies, industry, and National and/or Service Laboratories. Ability to translate requirements and observations into clearly defined written products (briefings, reports, White Papers) in short timeframes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Skilled in using personal computer and standard office automation systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, M/S Project). Travel is required (10% to 25%). Top Secret clearance (or equivalent) is required, as is the ability to obtain SCI access. Desired Qualifications: Current Top Secret/SCI clearance. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Background and experience in Special Operations Forces or the Intelligence Community. Experience in 1) ISR systems, 2) experience with Multi-INT data fusion, 3) Deep Learning and computer augmented capabilities/perception, and 4) high value target location and tracking. An understanding of WMD threats and expertise in the theory and operation of non-nuclear, non-radiological sensors.
