Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Virginia and southern West Virginia, is seeking Management Trainees at our Mechanicsville, Virginia location. Working as a Management Trainee in Parts and Service Operations will give you the opportunity to learn about Caterpillar equipment and our company. You'll help direct the day-to-day parts and service work-flow and ensure top-notch customer service is provided to our customers. As your knowledge and skills grow, so too will your opportunities at Carter Machinery Co. Seeking energetic candidate with strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced service environment. High mechanical aptitude and 4-year degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and have strong time management/organizational skills. Excellent internal and external customer satisfaction skills. Strong PC and administrative skills, with the ability to adapt to changing technology. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities. Able to work hours required to meet job and customer demands.
Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight.
