Evaluates technological advances and determine the feasibility of adapting to existing software and hardware capabilities. Performs file and data maintenance through evaluation of file storage needs to ensure accessibility and search ability of the organization?s enterprise documents. Develops new and innovative methods based on agency policy and works with multiple data systems to synthesize information, and perform sensitivity analyses to make recommendations to management. Plans, directs and implements organizational management and security of administrative services programs. Develops methods for automating business and administrative processes by considering interrelationships of datasets and meaningful reporting. Coordinates with DCMAIT systems administrators to make changes and adjustments to software configurations to adequately respond to user requirements. Provides oversight of the organization?s IT requirements and develops Business Case documentation and justification required for automation-related purchases. Analyzes data, evaluates quality, identifies errors and trends; develops plans for error correction and reversal of negative trends in data quality. Provides technical guidance to managers and functional users to resolve staff problems and inquiries on data systems and other related systems matters. Serves as an Information Technology Management Specialist responsible for Information Technology support to: - Contract Management Business Process Transition, Systems? Process Reengineering, Workflow/Workload Scheduling, DCMA 360 Site Administration, and data and records management and maintenance. DCMA 360 Site Administrator responsible for the implementation and maintenance of SharePoint (DCMA 360). Maintains user and group permissions within the SharePoint environment, monitoring storage quotas and interfacing with DCMA IT to resolve or request additional storage space as needed. Ensures security and confidentiality of electronic records and files including analyzing and reporting on SharePoint metrics. Receives and conducts training to include completion of all DCMA IT required training. Implements the Integrated Workload Management System, develops local business process with workflows, customized lists, and/or document libraries. Uses established workflows and query results to build schedules used by functional personnel to conduct surveillance planning on assigned contracts. Monitors system performance to make adjustments, notifies others of system issues and provides solutions for technical problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-11). Specialized experience is defined as: Experience providing a variety of information technology (IT) customer support, training and guidance to include: developing/implementing and troubleshooting SharePoint web applications and writing Structured Query language (SQL) queries; experience performing electronic file and data maintenance; maintaining network security and data integrity as well as, advising on information technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). My experience also demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: leading others by setting the standards for the quality of work, even in the most difficult and/or high pressure circumstances; reviewing and editing work completed by others to ensure that the quality of work meets acceptable work standards; (2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Examples of IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: using expertise and experience to address complex problems, questions, or complaints; anticipating customer needs and modify the team's work activities, processes, and practices to meet these needs; collaborating across team and outside of own team to organize planning sessions that elicit ideas for improving customer service and support; (3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
