ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who wants to join our team in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Pascagoula, MS. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We need a Junior-Level LHA(R) HM&E On-Site Test Engineer? ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Responsibilities:
Provide programmatic support to Ship Design Manager Team as follows:
Indivi dual assists the Senior LHA(R) HM&E (Hull, Mechanical & Electrical) On-Site Test Engineer in providing support for the Amphibious Warfare Program Office, PMS 377, in production test of the LHA(R) Class Provide technical support to the LHA(R) Class Ship Design Manager (SDM) Team and PMS 377 Technical PAPM in resolving technical and design issues. Perform technical studies and reviews for SDM Team. Provide support in maintaining pertinent SDM documents, emails, database and historical data in accordance with SDM processes. Provide technical studies and reviews as directed by the client. Coordinate with NAVSEA field activities, shipbuilder, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) and Technical Warrant Holder (TWH) to support the resolution of technical and system integration design and production engineering issues. Assist in coordinating responses to contractor developed solutions to engineering problems. Evaluate engineering change papers, waterfront changes, and other government and contractor change orders for technical and programmatic acceptability. Provide support for weekly, monthly (and on-demand as required) technical meetings and prepare minutes and action items. Participate in technical meetings with SDM team, SDM design integration team and System Engineering Mangers (SEM) for briefing and tasking discussions. Prepare meeting minutes and action item lists as required. Coordinate with Change Management/Design Management (CM/DM) analysts for tracking, updating and SDM action items in accordance with SDM team processes. Attend shipbuilder technical issue meetings. Provide input for Post Delivery work packages. Review and provide comments for SCDs and provide technical briefs to the PMS 377 Technical Director at monthly Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and technical scoping reviews (TSR). Experience requirements:
Experience in shipbuilding, ship design, and engineering disciplines is highly preferred.
Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline
