SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking enthusiastic Electrical Engineers for an opportunity in Electronics and Sensor Division within our Engineering and Technology Group. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
The qualified candidate will become part of the Electronics and Power Systems Department.
This position may be filled as a Member of the Technical Staff (MTS), Associate MTS, or Senior MTS.
Perform electrical engineering evaluations at the breadboad level utilizing standard lab equipment Perform circuit simulations using SABER, SIMETRIX or SPICE computer codes Coordinate communication of progress of ongoing tasks and technical issues with the Engineering and Technology Group management and technical peers Develop clear and concise written reports and presentations Articulate presentation material concisely to management and peers Participates with an interdisciplinary team in ongoing research or technical programs with academic collaboration partners Applies standard techniques and procedures to carry out a series of prescribed scientific and/or engineering tasks Training and mentorship will be provided

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Minimum GPA 3.0 Must be able to obtain a security clearance US Citizenship required Demonstrated knowledge of circuit simulation and lab component/circuit characterization techniques required Understanding of power and analog circuits including transistors and operational amplifiers required Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills required Demonstrated ability to work and interact well with customers, contractors, peers, and management Travel 25% or more required
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field GPA 3.5 or higher Active security clearance Two or more years of progressively responsible experience in relevant roles is typical for an MTS. Less experienced candidates are typically considered for Associate MTS roles Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in relevant roles is typical for a Senior MTS Time spent pursuing graduate studies in a pertinent field is typically applicable to the experience-level qualifications listed above
