Job Description:

KeyW is seeking mission-driven individuals to join our team as a Test Engineer supporting the critical Application Operational and Sustainment (O&S) support program for an Intelligence Community Customer that is on the front line of National Defense. The Test Engineer will be responsible for:
Participating in all phases of software development to keep abreast of system requirements and specifications and development of corresponding test plans, procedures and scripts and test tools selection. Estimates for software-testing costs and schedule. Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates - Update automated test scripts to ensure currency. Performs highly complex testing and analyzes network systems development including integration, systems testing, interoperability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system. Investigates and resolves highly complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution of problems. Provides technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs for system testing. Consults with clients on highly complex systems, determines systems requirements, recommends processes and/or programs, coordinates project team and follows through on implementation. Provides complex technical expertise to engineering management in the development, maintenance and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent years of experience. 3+ years of hands on manual testing experience. Experience with Jenkins, Selenium, Findbugs, Junit. Experience working with computer systems and their uses. Experience working with scripting languages such as TCL, PERL, HP. Experience working with data transmission protocols such as TCP/IP. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong time management, priority allocation and task management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members. Strong presentation skills to present test results to individuals and groups. Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel .

Clearance Requirement: Position requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
