This role will support the Georgia-Pacific Professional customer development capability with a specific focus on driving Category Management and Joint Business Planning with key customers. This person will work with key customers, customer development and sales teams to provide insights and opportunities and identify and develop joint initiative opportunities. They will look for opportunities to drive category leadership and category expansion with key customers. They will utilize market and customer insights to drive category strategies and activation plans to establish Georgia-Pacific as the thought leader with key customers in washroom and foodservice categories. They will identify insights and opportunities based on customer data and analytics. This individual will play a role of category advisor to key customers helping position GP as a thought leader and driver of category leadership. In addition, they will be the voice of the customer, identifying and anticipating customer needs.
Identify opportunities (market, segment, category) utilizing Category Management insights identification process with key customers that lead to value added and sustainable strategies and activation plans. Identify insights and opportunities to drive strategies and tactics utilizing customer trace sales data and customer analytics. Synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable insights that lead to development and execution of activation strategies and tactics. Identify efficient assortment for customer to drive category growth and efficiencies; and accelerate product innovation. Identify category sales fundamental (assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotion, sales rep etc.) best practices that help provide guidelines to drive category growth across key customers. Develop category selling platforms leveraging insights identified, that can be scaled and applied across key customers and leveraged in joint business planning. Build standardized selling stories outlining insights, recommended actions, marketing needs and selling solutions that can be customized to specific business opportunities. Develop JBP scorecarding metrics and reporting that provide understanding of performance and lead to adjusting and refining initiatives. Lead resource with customers on their Category Management, analytics and insights team.
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 4 years work experience in B2B or CPG Minimum of 4 years client or customer facing experience Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Category Management experience Knowledge of the B2B industry Previous experience developing analytical models, templates and tools. Strong understanding of/proficiency with customer specific purchase behavior data, assortment tools Previous experience developing category selling stories and platforms. Experience developing insight-based selling materials
