ARServices is seeking a Videographer/Broadcaster to support the Corporate Communications Division (Code 103), at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). Code 103 provides strategic counsel, planning and execution of internal and external communication for NSWCDD, and is responsible for informing, promoting and marketing the successes of NSWCDD, as well as the 8,000-member workforce, local community leaders, elected officials, Program Executive Offices, and other Navy and DoD stakeholders.
Provide support for approximately 16 videotaped events annually Produce and edit professional quality videos in accordance with industry audiovisual standards, adhering to Section 508 standards Produce products that can be used in multiple mediums, such as digital signage, websites, social media platforms, and others Produce and edit all national broadcast-level videos for NSWCDD, including documentaries, human-interest features, news minutes, commercials, sizzle reels, narratives, short-form social media videos, and other promotional and advanced storytelling content using GFE Use edit and graphics software to deliver polished, detail-oriented final edits with cinema-quality audio weaving, creative shot selection, surprise elements, and dynamic sequencing Requirements
Bachelor's degree in fine arts, communications, graphic design or animation OR 3 years of related experience in organizing, writing, storyboarding, shooting, editing, lighting and producing audio visual projects, pod casts, and slide shows with sound accompaniments Knowledge of equipment, techniques, processes of photography, lighting techniques, and digital reproduction techniques Newport Enterprise Realtime Development Server (NERDS) experience Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium, MS Office Professional, AVS Video Converter, and Snagit10 screen capture software ARServices is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
