Join our Defense Intelligence Information Enterprise (JI2E) Test and Evaluation Focus Team (TEFT) and provide your expertise in the Distributed Common Ground Station (DCGS) to our customer at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC).
Serve as an Intermediate Systems Analyst for the Defense Common Ground Station (DCGS) Test and Evaluation Focus Team (TEFT). Responsible for identifying joint and coalition interoperability testing goals, objectives, and deliverable products. Responsible for the development of assessment concepts, outbriefs/reports, matrices, templates, and procedures. Responsible for working with the Functional Area analyst to socialize objectives and test goals with other DCGS Functional Teams. Travel is required. Must be able to attend technical exchange meetings and provide technical-level notes, based on discussions, which emphasize areas that may impact assessment planning and execution. Responsible for tracking and briefing the test event status to JITC Government Action Officers.
Work will be accomplished at the Joint Interoperability Test Command, Fort Huachuca, AZ.
As a Systems Analyst - Intermediate on the DI2E TEFT, you will support independent T&E of the DCGS Enterprise to determine and report on the overall compliance, interoperability and maturity of DCGS Family of Systems (FoS) as directed and governed in accordance with established joint interoperability requirements, net-centric standards, Intelligence Community (IC) and DI2E technical guidance. The objectives of the DCGS TEFT team are to carry out the unique T&E roles and responsibilities assigned by DoD OUSD(I). You will develop and implement the DCGS Enterprise testing strategy to fulfill the following TEFT roles and responsibilities:
Serve as the clearinghouse for interoperability activities of DCGS systems to facilitate joint, coalition, shared, and synchronized testing;
Provide T&E resources to the DCGS TEFT community program managers and agency initiative leads in the preparation and conduct of standards conformance, developmental, operational, and interoperability testing;
Evaluate shortfalls/issues with DCGS/DI2E implementations when requested by OUSD(I) or other TEFT member organizations
Research, acquire, develop and implement T&E instrumentation and tools to enhance and automate DCGS Enterprise testing;
Develop, coordinate and share test methodologies, resources, plans, procedures and expertise; and
Provide a T&E forum to coordinate and synchronize the use of existing DoD and Service test facilities.
Bachelor's degree: Candidate must have at least 8 years of directly relatable experience
Master's Degree: Candidate must have at least 6 years of directly relatable experience
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, MS PPT, and MS Excel
Candidates must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Acceptable Degrees/experience: Data Processing, Logistics Management, Communications and Electronics, Mathematics, Financial Management, Acquisition Management, Systems Analysis, Operations Research, Engineering Technology, or Computer Systems Analysis
Direct knowledge of and experience with one of the DCGS Programs of Record
8+ years' experience with DCGS PoR systems
Ability to meet with customers and express project and deliverable status
Direct testing experience with Operational Test Agencies such as AFOTEC, ATEC, or COMOPTEVFOR
Prior testing and Task Lead experience with the Joint Interoperability Test Command
Candidate should have experience with leading a test team effort and possess strong written and verbal communications skills as the candidate will be responsible for delivering quality technical papers and briefing large audiences.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires a Top Secret Security with SCI Clearance, based on current background investigation.
