ICI is seeking a Senior Combat Systems Integration Engineer to support our Navy and USCG shipbuilding customers in Washington, DC .
Applicant must hold or be eligible to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance Responsibilities:
Revie w an d evaluat e Surface Combatant Weapon System and Combat System performanc e specification s an d technica l desig n document s fo r conformanc e t o operationa l an d contractua l requirements ; recommen d desig n improvements ; revie w propose d desig n improvements , waivers , deviation s an d alteration s fo r thei r impac t o n performance , reliability , maintainability , availability , man-power , quality , safety, risk and life cycle cost. Participat e a s a membe r o f th e technica l revie w tea m i n preparatio n fo r desig n review s durin g al l phase s o f syste m life-cycl e support Attend planning meetings and participate in design reviews to ensure that system requirements are addressed. Assist in preparation of technical presentation material. Participat e i n syste m review s suc h a s Initia l Baselin e Revie w (IBR) , Baselin e Revie w Boar d (BRB) , Preliminar y Desig n Revie w (PDR) , an d Critica l Desig n Revie w (CDR) . Documen t meetin g finding s an d follow-u p o n meetin g actio n items . Provide systems engineering analysis, reviews, studies, documentation and recommendations related to the development, interoperability, integration analysis, operations, sustainment and disposal of Battle Force units, interface between units, systems, subsystems and equipment. Provide engineering analyses, recommendations and documentation to IPTs, special advisory boards, off-sites, working groups, audit teams, and similar forums. Develop and maintain engineering plans, program records, design histories, design configurations, databases and other documentation. Carry out modeling, engineering development, pre-production and simulation development and analyses. Experience Requirements:
15+ years of experience in Naval Combat System Integration Proficient in MS Office Educational Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Marine Engineering, Math or Technical field EOE/M/F/ Disability/Vet
